This step-by-step guide shows administrators how to rename an award cycle in Next.

Renaming an Award Cycle

• There are two ways to rename an award cycle: 
  • On the All Award Cycles page
  • Within the award cycle
• Award Cycles can be renamed before, during, or after the cycle is in Test Mode or Published.
   

Step-By-Step Instructions

Rename an Award Cycle on the All Awards Cycles Page

1.  On the Program page, click Program Settings at the bottom of the left-hand menu. 

2. Click All Award Cycles in the left-hand menu. 

3. On the All Award Cycles page, click the pencil icon next to the cycle's name.

4. Name your cycle: 

a. Type the new cycle name into the textbox.

b. To save it, click the arrow icon, press Enter on your keyboard, or click anywhere outside the textbox.

Rename an Award Cycle within the Award Cycle

1. On the All Award Cycles page, click the Open button for the appropriate cycle.

2. In the What is the name or title of this Cycle? textbox, enter the new award cycle name. 

3. Click Save Changes in the upper-right corner to save the new name. 

4. A confirmation message briefly appears on the screen confirming the save.
