This article covers how to delete a form field from a form in a program cycle in Next. 

In the example below, an Intake Form is shown, but the process of deleting a form field from a form in other areas of the workflow is the same.

Delete a Form Field

To delete a form field in a form:
 

1. Select the form field that needs deleting so the dotted outline remains visible.

2. Select the red trash can icon within the form field.

3. A confirmation message appears asking to confirm the deletion of the form field.
4. To confirm the deletion, select the Delete button.

The form field is deleted and no longer appears on the form.

--- IMPORTANT ---

Once a form has been included in a published workflow, the form field cannot be deleted. If the form field needs to be removed after the program cycle is published, it can only be hidden.
