What Is Microsoft Dynamics Integration

Microsoft Dynamics Integration allows you to connect Next directly to Microsoft Dynamics CRM to maintain synchronized contact records.

  • With Microsoft Dynamics Integration, you can:
    • Automatically update Microsoft Dynamics records when applicants create or update profiles in Next.
    • Eliminate duplicate data entry and maintain data accuracy.
    • Keep your CRM up to date with current applicant information.

Step-By-Step Instructions

Connect MS Dynamics to Next

  1. Click Settings
  2. Select Integrations.

2. Click Connect next to the CRM Integration:

3.  Select the Microsoft Dynamics radio button, and click Confirm:

4. Choose the Microsoft Dynamics instance you would like to connect to and accept the terms.

Map Next Profile Fields

  1. Click Configure next to Microsoft Dynamics in your integrations list

2. Select which form to map:

  • Individual Profile Form, or
  • Organization Profile Form

3. Manually map each Next field to its corresponding Microsoft Dynamics field:

4. Click Save to store your field mappings

Enable Applicant Profile Sync

  1. Navigate to the General tab in the Microsoft Dynamics configuration

2. Toggle the Sync applicant profile data slider from “no” to “yes” to enable automatic synchronization

3. Click Save to activate the integration

The system will now automatically:

  • Create new contact records in Microsoft Dynamics when profiles are created in Next
  • Update existing contact records when profiles are modified
  • Log all successful syncs and any errors that occur

  1. Navigate to Organization Settings > Integrations in Next

2. Click Configure next to Microsoft Dynamics

3. Click Disconnect to terminate the integration

Important Integration Details

  • This integration is a one-way sync from Next to Microsoft Dynamics. Any updates made in Microsoft Dynamics will not sync back to Next.
  • Synchronization occurs in real-time when profiles are created or updated in Next.
  • The integration settings panel contains the activity log, which tracks all sync actions (successful or failed).
