Overview

This guide is for Organization Owners who want to enable and manage Identity Verification for applicants in Next.

  • You’ll learn:
    • What Identity Verification is and when it’s used
    • How to enable it on Individual Profile Forms
    • How to access and interpret verification results

What Is Identity Verification?

Identity Verification allows you to confirm that applicants are who they say they are, protecting your organization from fraud. Next’s system matches government-issued ID documents with real-time selfies to ensure authenticity.

  • You can add Identity Verification to:
    • Individual Profile Forms
  • When Identity Verification is enabled, Next will:
    • Use biometric analysis to verify applicant identities.
    • Prompt applicants to capture their government ID and a real-time selfie.
    • Use Veriff's advanced facial recognition technology to confirm matches.

This helps ensure submitted information matches identification documents.
