Edit Applications

You can now make edits directly to submitted applications during active rounds—fixing typos, updating information, and correcting errors without the back-and-forth of emailing applicants to make changes themselves.

  • Make corrections without asking applicants to resubmit
  • Maintain transparency with automatic applicant notifications for every change
  • Track all edits with a complete audit log showing before/after modifications

Who can use it: Org Owners, Program Owners, and Program Managers (you control which roles have access per program)

Getting started: This feature must be enabled for each program.

Program Inbox

Program Inbox, our centralized email hub that keeps your entire team connected to applicant conversations, is now available for Microsoft email customers. Google Workspace support is expected to be available in January 2026.

What it does:

  • Send and receive applicant emails directly from Submittable Next
  • Keep all correspondence visible to your full team in one place
  • Filter email threads by Award Cycle for faster responses
  • Eliminate communication silos

Getting started: Program Inbox works with business email accounts from Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace only. Contact your Customer Success Manager to enable it for your account at no additional cost.

Let them know which email provider you use:

  • Microsoft 365 customers: We'll enable Program Inbox for you right away
  • Google Workspace customers: We're working through the Google approval process and expect availability in January 2026. Contact your CSM now to get on the list—we'll enable your account as soon as approval is complete.

Download Improvements: Award Agreements & Docusign Envelopes

We're continuing to expand our background download system. This release adds two more export types to the centralized Downloads page:

  • Award Agreements
  • Docusign Envelopes

Quick reminder: The Downloads page (top right, under your name) eliminates timeout errors by processing large exports in the background. You'll get an email when files are ready, and you can queue multiple downloads at once.

Now available on the Downloads page:

  • Application Packages
  • All Application Data exports
  • Custom View exports
  • Awardee Details exports
  • Award Agreements
  • Docusign Envelopes

Coming in future releases: Progress Reports, Reimbursement data, Invoice downloads, and more

Note: Not all export types use the new Downloads page yet. Watch for the confirmation message after initiating any download to know where your file will be available.

Salesforce Integration Enhancement: Duplicate Mapping Configurations

When Program Owners duplicate a program, Salesforce mapping configurations now copy automatically along with forms, cycles, and settings. All mappings, relationships, and lookup configurations transfer to the new program with validation checks to ensure compatibility—no need to reconfigure your Salesforce integration from scratch every time you duplicate a program.
