Enhanced Search and Sorting in Intake and Review Stages

We’ve updated tools to make it even easier for Program Owners & Managers to find and organize applications within the Intake and Review stages:

  • Full-Text Search: Now available in the Review stages, you can quickly locate specific applications using keywords. Search works seamlessly with any filters you’ve applied.
  • Improved Sorting Options: We’ve fixed and enhanced sorting for calculated values in both the Intake and Review stages. Easily organize applications in ascending or descending order, with sorting that works smoothly alongside filters to deliver the most relevant results.

Flexible Expense Management Enhancements

As a Program Owner or Program Manager, you now have greater control over the "Expenses" feature with the enhanced Flexible Expense Management functionality. This enhancement allows you to independently turn the "Expenses" feature On or Off for specific programs, providing more flexibility in how you manage budgets and expenses across different initiatives. PO/PM’s now can also validate expenses on the Overall Budget Amount. This update gives you:

  • Independent Control: Toggle the expenses feature on or off for individual programs, enabling you to use budgets without tracking expenses.
  • Program-Specific Configurations: Apply the expenses feature to some programs while excluding others, based on program-specific requirements.
  • Enhanced Validation: You can now choose to validate expenses against the total approved budget, specific budget category limits, or the award amount—even when budgets are not being collected during intake.

Budget and Reimbursement Enhancements

Program Owners, Program Managers, and Awardees now have access to enhanced budget visibility and streamlined reimbursement workflows. These improvements provide greater transparency, control, and ease of use for managing budgets and expenses.

Program Owners and Program Managers can now:

  • Track budget drawdowns at both the category level and the overall budget level for grant, match, and project amounts.
  • Monitor category-level and overall budget-level drawdowns as reimbursement requests are approved.
  • Review, approve, or request revisions on individual expenses within a reimbursement request, allowing for more granular control.
  • View awarding history across all program cycles for improved oversight and reporting.

Awardees now benefit from:

  • A clearer budget dashboard with visualized drawdowns of their budgets at the category and overall levels.
  • The ability to submit multiple reimbursement requests, add line items to expenses, and manage reimbursements more flexibly.
  • The option to discard reimbursements before submission if changes are needed.
  • Access to their saved expense lists for quicker and more accurate reimbursement submissions.
  • A streamlined view of all their reimbursement requests for improved tracking and management.

These enhancements provide a more user-friendly and transparent experience for both program administrators and awardees, improving collaboration and financial oversight throughout the reimbursement process.
