Summary

The following is a summary of updates from the July 2024 NextZen release.  Please note that each link gives more information about that feature or enhancement.

Reviewer & Administrator Profiles

NextZen now has the capability to capture profile information for all reviewers as well as administrators (primarily for the purpose of admins who will review submissions).  The intent of these profiles is to match or exclude review assignments where applicable.

Budgets on Intake Forms

For programs that are designated as grants in NextZen, budget information can now be included on the intake form for applicants to complete.

Expenses and Reimbursements

NextZen now allows expenses and reimbursements for award recipients to be tracked at the cycle level.

Mid-Cycle Post-Award Onboarding

For clients that are onboarding to NextZen with an award cycle already in progress, a Program Owner in NextZen can now invite/import applicants to a program cycle that is in the awarding phase.

Standard Reporting

Standard Reporting (Analytics) is a feature that is available for all NextZen clients.

There is now a Progress Reports section within both the Organization Summary tab (accessible to Organization Owners) and the Program Activity tab of Analytics (Standard Reporting) that summarizes the number of reports that are:

• Submitted
• Approved
• Submitted Late
• Rejected

Further, the Progress Reports section within the Program Awards tab summarizes the report information by award within a program cycle.

There are additional metrics for progress reports that are tracked within the section for each tab.

Advanced Reporting

Advanced Reporting (Report Builder) is available to clients as an add-on feature.

Within the Analyze tab of Report Builder, NextZen provides the functionality to create visualizations of data based on most of the fields on a profile form, an intake form, or a custom feedback form, which can then be added to custom dashboards on the Dashboard tab.
