Overview

This article covers what a section description is and how to add one within a sectioned form in a program cycle in Next. 

In the example below, an Intake Form is shown, but the process of adding or editing a section description in a Post Award Report Form is the same.

Section Description

For either a Standard Section or a Request Section, there is a specific area to add a description of the section.  

When an applicant views an intake form with sections, descriptions show below the section name (see example of an applicant’s view below). Descriptions also display within a section as the applicant is working on it.


 

To add or edit a section description:

  1. Select within a section to make it actively editable. The section label appearing, as highlighted in the screenshot below, indicates the active section.



 

  1. Select anywhere within the Enter description here… (optional) area, or within the existing description to edit it.



 

  1. Edit the description as needed.



 

  1. Select outside the section description area to accept the changes.
