Overview

This article will walk through renaming a form in a program cycle in Next.

In the example below, an Intake Form is shown, but the process of renaming a form in other areas of the workflow is the same.

Rename a Form

Within a program’s settings, select the appropriate section to rename a form.

  1. For this example, select Intake Forms.

  1. On the list of Intake Forms, select the Open button of the form being renamed.

  1. If it is a new form and the first time it is opened, go to step 4 below.  If it is an existing form, go to step 7 below.
  2. The structure of the new form needs to be determined before continuing.  Select whether the form will be divided into sections.  (The structure can be changed later; see the Change Form Structure article for more information.)

  1. Select the Confirm button.

  1. A help message will appear describing how to change the form if the structure needs to be changed at a later time.  Select the Got It button to close the message.

  1. Select anywhere inside the current name of the form and a text box appears.

  1. Edit the form name as needed.
  2. Select the Return/Enter key on the keyboard or select anywhere outside the text box to accept the new form name.
