Overview

This guide shows Program Admins how to change the structure of a form in Next. The example below uses an Intake Form, but the process is the same for other forms in the workflow where sections are allowed.

⚠️Important Notes

  • You can change structure anytime. A form's structure can be changed even after the form has already been built.

  • Changing structure can affect existing fields. When you switch a form's structure, a message appears explaining how the change will affect your current form fields — review it before saving.

Step-By-Step Instructions

Change Form Structure

  1. With the form open, select the Form Settings gear icon next to the form name.

  2. In the popup, select whether the form should have sections; in this example, the form is changing from a form with no sections to having sections.

  1. Review the message explaining how this change will affect your form fields.

 4. Click Save when finished.

The form updates to the new structure.
