Overview
This step-by-step guide shows Program Admins how to manually assign reviewers to applications in a Review Round in Next.
What is Manual Review Assignment?
Next automatically assigns reviewers when a review round begins. These assignments are based on the settings you chose in the Workflow Builder when setting up the review round. (See ➡️Assign Reviewers to the Round for more information about this).
You might need to manually assign a reviewer if:
- A new reviewer is added to the review group after the cycle is published.
- A reviewer has indicated a conflict of interest with a submission and therefore has declined that review assignment. You'll need to assign someone else.
- An administrator needs to assign all reviewers manually. (Currently, there is no way to manually assign reviewers to submissions immediately following an intake round; the system needs to first auto-assign reviewers to submissions, and then manual assignments can be made.)
-
Who can manually assign reviewers?
- Organization Owners
- Client Admins (in partner-managed accounts)
- Program Owners
