Overview
This article shows organization applicants who are Profile Owners how to approve or reject requests to join their organization profile in Next.
Step-By-Step Instructions
Applicants who are not yet affiliated with your organization must request to join before they can apply on the organization’s behalf. After making the request, Profile Owners can approve or deny it.
How to Approve or Deny a Request
- When an applicant requests to join your organization, you’ll receive an email notification. In that email, click Go to Organization Profile and log in to your account (if not already logged in).
💡Tip: If you cannot find the notification email, you can access pending requests directly in the platform. Log into your account and click your name in the upper-right corner. Select Your Profiles. Select the Organization Profile(s) tab, then select Organization Members from the left menu.
- The Organization Members screen will appear.
- A yellow exclamation icon
on the Organization Members tab signals that you have pending requests to join the organization profile.
- Members waiting for your approval show a Pending Approval status next to the gear icon on the far-right of the screen.
- A yellow exclamation icon
- Click the gear icon
, then select Approve Request or Deny Request in the dropdown.
If approving a request:
- In the confirmation pop-up, click Approve.

📌Note: At any time, you can change the new member's role or remove them from your organization. For help, see ➡️ Managing Organization Members
