Overview
This quick guide explains the program level in Next.
What is the Program Level?
A program is a single opportunity that your organization runs (for example, a grant, scholarship, fellowship, or award). The Program level is where you manage a program — its cycles, members, and settings.
Who can access the program level?
- Organization Owners
- Client Admins
- Program Owners
- Program Managers
- Program Staff (limited access)
What You'll See When You Open a Program
- Log into your account. From the Programs page, click View Program to open the program you want to work in.
- The Program Menu appears. The default landing page is Award Cycles.
How to Get Around (Layout & Navigation)
When you're in a program, you'll see a menu on the left side of the page with the following options:
- Award Cycles
- Program Info
- Program Members
- Admin Section
- Program Inbox
- Awarding History
- Analytics
- Program Settings
Click an item in the Program Menu to open that page.
📌Note: If you are a Program Staff, you won't see Program Settings or the Admin section, as those tabs are only accessible to admins.
Award Cycles
View all award cycles in the program. You can search and sort the list from this page.
- Click the hyperlinked cycle name to open it and go to that cycle's workspace, where you manage your intake rounds (application submissions), review rounds, and awarding and post-award activities.
The cycle's workspace opens:
- Click the gear icon
to the far-right of the cycle to open Cycle Settings. Learn more: ➡️Navigating Cycle Settings.
Program Info
General information about the program. You can edit the content on this page to include the information you want applicants to see when they are viewing your program.
Program Members
A list of members in the program. You can invite/remove members and resend invitations from this page.

Admin Section
Only program admins (Program Owners/Managers, Organization Owners, Client Admins) can see this page. An internal space where Admins can store notes and reference information.

Program Inbox
This tab is only visible if Program Inbox is set up in your program. When set up, your team can send emails and manage correspondence with applicants in the platform.

Awarding History
A record of past awards for all cycles in the program.
Analytics
Program-level reports and insights. [screenshot coming soon!]
Program Settings
Only program admins (Program Owners/Managers, Organization Owners, Client Admins) can see this area. When you click Program Settings in the left menu from the main program screen, a new screen opens, where you can access Program Setup and ➡️Member Types.
