Overview

This article will walk through the process of changing the structure of a form in a program cycle in Next.

In the example below, an Intake Form is shown, but the process of changing the structure of a form in other areas of the workflow where form sections are allowed is the same.

Change Form Structure

After the structure of a form has been determined, it can be changed, even if the form has already been built.

To change the form structure:

  1. With the form open, select the Form Settings gear icon next to the form name.

  1. A popup message will appear asking to confirm whether or not the form should have sections.  Select the desired response; in this example, the form is changing from a form with no sections to having sections.

  1. When the selection is made, a special note appears with information about how changing the structure will affect the form fields.

  1. Select the Save button when finished.

The form will be updated to the new structure.
